These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application Mein Retter (iOS / Android) and all digital services and content provided by Mein Retter GmbH. By installing, opening, or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Scope of Application
(1) These Terms apply to all digital content and services offered through the App, including:
- on-demand courses (first aid, emergency care, baby/child/animal modules),
- emergency assistant and informational content,
- in-app purchases / subscriptions for Premium access,
- other interactive or informational features.
(2) These Terms apply exclusively between you (the user) and Mein Retter GmbH. Any additional or alternative terms you propose (e.g., in e-mail communication) are only valid if expressly confirmed in writing.
3. Use of the App
(1) The App is provided for private, non-commercial use only. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for personal first-aid learning and emergency information.
(2) Commercial use, resale, sharing or public distribution of content (text, images, video, courses) is prohibited.
4. Content and Purpose
(1) The App provides first-aid and emergency guidance, educational content and reference information.
(2) Important Disclaimer: The information in this App does not constitute a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 112 (or the local emergency number).
(3) The App does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or suitability for specific cases. Use at your own risk.
5. Subscriptions / In-App Purchases
(1) Some content and features are only accessible via a paid, auto-renewable subscription (“Premium”).
(2) Subscription details:
- Title: Mein Retter Premium (or equivalent)
- Duration: monthly or yearly (depending on option)
- Price: as displayed on the App Store / Google Play Store (local currency)
- Renewal: automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payment: handled through the user’s Apple or Google account
(3) Access to Premium content remains active as long as the subscription is valid.
(4) No partial refunds or credits for unused portions of a subscription period.
6. User Rights & Intellectual Property
(1) All content, graphics, texts, videos and course materials in the App are protected by copyright and other applicable rights.
(2) You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the content within the App, strictly for private purposes.
(3) Any reproduction, adaptation, distribution or public display of App content outside of the App requires prior written permission from Mein Retter GmbH.
7. Liability / Warranty Disclaimer
(1) The content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
(2) Mein Retter GmbH is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information in the App.
(3) Use of the App and its content is at your own risk. In emergencies, always seek professional medical help.
(4) The App does not replace a certified first-aid course or medical training.
8. Changes to Content and Services
Mein Retter GmbH reserves the right to:
- modify, expand or suspend App features, content or services at any time
- update courses, educational materials or legal information
- change subscription prices or conditions
Users will be informed of significant changes within the App.
9. Data and Privacy
Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy:

10. Third-Party Services

12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
German law applies exclusively to these Terms and the use of the App.
Where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of Mein Retter GmbH (Kaufering, Germany).
